In 2004, we identified a critical need within our own chain of auto dealerships, an answer to which was completely missing in the marketplace.
We realized that almost every aspect of the sales transaction was being done electronically - except for the “paper application”. The paper application and credit report were causing numerous liability and FTC compliance issues. We realized that if we captured credit applications on a wireless tablet (via the customer’s own handwriting) and stored that information in a secure location, compliance and real-time customer data access would be guaranteed.
After careful thought and years of development, we created the FCS eCredit App Plus platform. This platform was put into production over two years ago and continues to evolve from the feedback we receive from our installed customer base and prospective clients. Customer feedback has enabled us to develop automatic credit bureau and OFAC pulls, a robust portal, partner integration functionality, and more. One real benefit is the total control we have achieved in the F&I department - our very best F&I managers are able to see more deals, process more deals and sell more cars.
Today, FCS, LLC is a fast growing company, focused on increasing our integration partners and increasing the value of our ‘zero-entry’ concept. We are quickly outgrowing our mid-Atlantic region and selling to larger dealer groups focused on addressing certain risks and increasing the efficiency of their footprint.
